Artist's Description
Wonderful view of Otscher valley and the surrounding mountains at daily light. Mount Otscher is a prominent peak in south-western Lower Austria. Suburbs of the Austrian alps. Known tourist spot. The Ötscher, at 1,893 metres, is a prominent peak in south-western Lower Austria. Its name has Slavic roots and translates approximately as a diminutive of "father". The Ötscher area belongs to the Ybbstal Alps, which are part of the Northern Limestone Alps. The boundary between the districts of Lilienfeld and Scheibbs lies directly on its peak.
About Vaclav Sonnek
I come from a small village in the middle of the Beskydy Mountains in the Czech Republic. After 16 years of playing ice hockey at the highest level, at the age of 22 I was looking for an something different and another hobby. As I have always been attracted to the outdoors and making some memories, I bought a camera that grew on me. Thanks to the camera, I have explored new places and am trying to travel more around the world. My main goal is to show you the beauty of Europe.
