Beautiful dramatic sunset overlooking Lake Rombaken and the Halogaland Bridge that connects Narvik to the rest of Norway. Northern Norway under the last rays of light.
I have spent the last six months in Scandinavia, where I have visited many wonderful places, and this image had perhaps the most beautiful conditions. On the way back from Norway to Finland we passed Narvik and this bridge just connects this town with the road from Troms. I had to stop at the side of the road and managed to capture a breathtaking sunset that shines through the clouds, creating a dramatic situation over the Halogaland Bridge. This bridge is a suspension bridge which crosses the Rombaksfjorden in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is the second-longest bridge span in Norway
